Dear Students, if your school or college were to be asked to speak on any occasion like Independence Day, Republic Day, or Teachers Day, then I am going to give you lots of speeches for the same purpose.
By giving a speech, we are much better at speaking, because sometimes it happens that we can not speak everywhere. In the crowd, we lose control of ourselves and do not speak, so I am going to give you a simple speech which you can speak very well in a very simple language. So let’s start reading this article of speech on many festivals.

Speech on My country India
Honourable Chief Guest, dear distinguished Director, President, teachers, well-wishers of ………………………. and my dear fellow students, Ladies and gentleman. I am extremely happy to be amongst you on this special occasion of Independence / Republic Day.
My name is …………., I am from …………., I am a student of ………………………. and I study in Std. –……..
Today, I would like to thanks Mr. …………, Director, …………………. for giving me this opportunity. My speech entitled is ‘My country India’.
India is my country, my motherland. I love it and I am proud of it. India is a big country. In population, it is second only to China. India has a rich and glorious past. Once it was the seat of learning. Students from all over the world used to come here to study. Indian culture spread abroad. Indian goods had a ready market in foreign countries. It was a time when India was a land of plenty.
India is the largest democracy in the world. We Indians enjoy the freedom of speech, worship and press. All citizens have equal rights. India is rich in natural resources, yet its inhabitants are poor. The mineral wealth of the country is unexplored. Under the Union Government, new industries are being set up.
India is a peace-loving country but she has to spend a huge amount on defence because there is danger from her neighbours, namely Pakistan and China. The present Government under the new Prime Minister is trying to befriend them. India is a land of villages with many languages but there is unity in diversity. Ours is a secular state and all religions flourish side by side.

My name is …………., I am from …………., I am a student of ………………………. and I study in Std. –……..
Today, I would like to thanks Mr. …………., Director, ………………………. for giving me this opportunity. My speech entitled is ‘ Qualities of a good student’.
First and foremost, we should hardworking. If we do not know the questions, we can ask the teachers. Thus, we can pass the exam with flying colours. We will get the result in high spirits. Our parents will proud of us. Then, we should follow the rules and responsibilities. For instance, we should not blame other people and admit our own mistakes. Besides, we should queue up when we buy the food in the canteen.
Last but not least, we must make a timetable and follow what we wrote in the timetable. Besides that, we can exercise time after time because health is wealth. In a nutshell, a good student must have these qualities.

Speech on My favourite fruit
Honourable Chief Guest, Respected Director, Principal, Teachers, Parents and dear friends,
Wishing you all a very happy Independence / Republic Day !!
My name is …………., I am from …………., I am a student of …………….. and I study in Std. –……… My speech is about “My favourite fruit”.
I like all fruits, but my favourite fruit is strawberry. Strawberry is a small fruit. Its shape is different from other fruits. It has small spike-like seeds outside its body which make it look more beautiful. I like all food that is made with strawberry-like ice creams, cakes, milkshakes, jams, salads etc. They are packed with nutrients and are an excellent source of vitamin C. Strawberries have a sour taste but when processed are used as a flavouring agent. They give sweetness to food items. Strawberry has a little green stem. The colour of strawberries is so beautiful. It is red in colour.

Republic Day Speeches for School Students in Hindi
Speeches for students on Animals
Honourable Chief Guest, Respected Director, Principal, Teachers, Parents and dear friends, good morning
Wishing you all a very happy Independence / Republic Day !!
My name is …………., I am from …………., I am a student of ………………………. and I study in Std. –……..
God created all living things. So we should respect each other’s existence. We should also admit the fact that God has given much power and intelligence to his favourite creation, the human being.
We keep animals as our pets. I have a pet cat, we call her Puffy. We play together. She sits beside my leg whenever I am at home. The selfless love shown by pet animals is incomparable. Human beings also hunt animals and destroy their homes as and when we wish, to meet our own needs and greeds. The killing of animals should be made a serious offence. Forests should not be allowed to be destroyed. If we do not destroy their homes, they would also not harm us. If we give them their space, they will also respect ours. Let it not be in the future that we see animals only in movies or on the computer. Let not our children ask us, “What is a cat?” or “What is a lion?”

Speech on The Value of Education
First of all, we wish you all a very happy & warm Independence / Republic Day !!
Good Morning. Honourable Chief Guest, dear distinguished Director, President, teachers, well-wishers of ………………………. and my dear fellow students, Ladies and gentleman. I am extremely happy to be amongst you on this special occasion of Republic Day. Nevertheless, I am really humbled and I feel proud at the same time for the grace and trust which had shouldered on me.
My name is …………., I am from …………., I am a student of ………………………. and I study in Std. ……..
As you know all of us have gathered here to celebrate the 69th Republic Day of our nation. This day, after the hosting national flag, we salute and remember the heroic deeds of all freedom fighters. As a citizen of India, I feel so proud to give a speech on “The Value of Education” and share some of my views with you all.
Every little face I can see here came into this world, trailing clouds of glory from heaven. And suddenly the little angel finds himself filled with doubts, fears and confusion.
Education is what removes our doubts and fears; what makes us happy and peaceful; what makes us better human beings. The teacher comes, removes the darkness and suddenly we find how beautiful this world is. And the experience is often our best teacher.
But gaining knowledge alone doesn’t make one educated. Education is complete only when we learn how to live, how to hope, how to pray and how to behave with others.
Once a man was walking in the desert when a voice called him and said, “Pick up some pebbles and put them in your pocket, and tomorrow you will be both sorry and glad.”
The man obeyed, and the next morning, when he reached into his pocket, he found diamonds, rubies, and emeralds. And he was both glad and sorry. Glad that he had taken some; sorry that he hadn’t taken more. The same is true in education.
So my dear friends let us not forget the value of education so that we won’t feel sorry tomorrow.
My special request to all of you, please educate your children and make a contribution towards the development of our area.
Thank You, Jai Hind, Jai Bharat
Speeches for students on Education of girls in India
Honourable Chief Guest, dear distinguished Director, President, teachers, well-wishers of ………………………. and my dear fellow students, ladies and gentlemen. I am extremely happy to be amongst you on this special occasion of Republic Day. Nevertheless, I am really humbled, and I feel proud at the same time for the grace and trust which had shouldered on me.
My name is ……., I am from ……., I am a student of …………. and I study in Std. –……..
Around the world, girls and women are treated as second-grade citizens. Every incident of luxury, comfort, and even necessities is initially provided for boys and men.
The only requirement of women even today remains to look after the needs of family members and give birth to children. So, it is considered foolish to allow girls to waste their time on their studies.
Let us not forget that the purpose of education is not only to earn a livelihood, but to make one a good human being, which transfers on to the next generation. I personally feel that the education of girls must be an issue because it has already been neglected for far too long. Please educate your girl child too.
Thank You, Jai Hind, Jai Bharat
Speech on Saving Trees
Honourable Chief Guest, Respected Director, Principal, Teachers, Parents and dear friends,
First of all, I wish you all a very happy Independence Day!
My name is ………….., I am from ………….., I am a student of …………………….. and I study in Std. 2nd. My speech is about saving trees.
Earth has given us many gifts. One of them is a tree. Trees are very important to us. Many of our tribes live in forests that have trees. Trees provide us with timber to make furniture. Wild animals depend on trees for food and shelter. Trees help to prevent soil erosion and floods.
They give out oxygen and make the earth clean and cool. Many products, such as paper, gum, rubber, etc., are obtained from trees. Trees reduce pollution and increase rain. Birds make their nests on trees. So, friends, save trees by not cutting them and making them happy.
Thank You, Jai Hind, Jai Bharat

Speech on Don’t Make Fun of Others
Honourable Chief Guest, Respected Director, President, Teachers, Parents and dear friends,
Wishing you all a very happy Independence or Republic Day!
My name is …………., I am from …………., I am a student of ………………………. and I study in Std. –……… My speech is about “Don’t make fun of others.”
Everyone who is born in this world is funny in one way or another. But we are all ignorant of this fact. We keep on making fun of others, considering others are jokers, but we are very wrong.
A person I know was like a clown herself but used to make fun of others to show her superiority over them. This is wrong. It is better to make fun of yourself instead of others; at least that way, you will not become the better of others.
Thank You, Jai Hind, Jai Bharat,
Speech on Haste Makes Waste
Honourable Chief Guest, Respected Director, President, Teachers, Parents and dear friends,
Wishing you all a very happy Independence or Republic Day!
My name is …………., I am from …………., I am a student of ………………………. and I study in Std. –………. My speech is about “Haste Makes Waste.”
We should not be in a hurry to do things. Haste makes waste. When you are in a hurry, you are not able to do things in a proper way. You become confused. Take the example of a person named Jack. He is in a hurry to leave for the office. He arises from the bed and refreshes himself. Thereafter, he takes a bath. He is not able to bathe properly, as he is in a hurry. He is only able to eat a little of his breakfast, as he is in a hurry. Thereafter, he dresses up and runs to his office. When he reaches the office, he observes that everyone is laughing at him. At last, he comes to know that he is wearing his wife’s sandals instead of his. Therefore, we must not do things in a hurry. Haste makes waste.

Speeches for students on Soldiers
Honourable Chief Guest, Respected Director, President, Teachers, Parents and dear friends,
Wishing you all a very happy Independence / Republic Day !
My name is …………., I am from …………., I am a student of ………………………. and I study in Std. –………. My speech is about “soldiers.”
A soldier is the security guard of the country. He has to be brave and bold. The country can be conquered by its enemies if the soldiers are not able to defend its territory. If the soldier is a coward, he would not be able to fight with the enemies courageously.
The soldiers who run away from the battlefield are shot dead. They are not allowed to run away from the battlefield. An Indian soldier is given many facilities to enjoy. He is given free accommodation and rations, among other perks.
Indian soldiers have displayed extraordinary courage in the Indo-Pak wars. Many brave soldiers of India have shed their precious lives to save their country from the clutches of their enemies. The soldier gives us protection from the enemies. He saves his nation at the cost of his life. The nation salutes him.
